BreakOut West 2026
BreakOut West, Western Canada’s major music industry conference, festival and awards event, returns to Victoria, British Columbia, September 30–October 4, 2026. The event brings together artists, songwriters, music companies and industry professionals from across Western Canada and internationally. The program combines an industry conference, live showcases and the Western Canadian Music Awards, with more than 50 artists expected to perform throughout the festival.
The five-day industry program includes career-development sessions, workshops, panels, market deep-dives, mentor meetings, networking receptions and one-on-one opportunities with music professionals. The live festival runs across multiple Victoria venues and features artists representing a wide range of genres, making BreakOut West an important networking and discovery event for Canada’s independent music industry.
