The City of Music Conference returns to London, Ontario — Canada’s first UNESCO City of Music — on Thursday, November 6 & Friday, November 7, 2025
Now in its third year and expanding to a full two‑day format, the event brings together municipal leaders, artists, industry professionals and cultural advocates to explore the role of music in creating inclusive, resilient and innovative communities. 

What to Expect

  • Two days of panel discussions, keynotes, interactive sessions and live performances focusing on the intersection of music and community‑building. 
  • Featured themes include:
    • Sustainable practices in music and urban development
    • Municipal music policy with international case studies
    • Music in a circular economy — how creativity, business and sustainability connect
    • Ecosystem development — how a city’s music sector can thrive through connected infrastructure and partnerships 
  • A special evening event: Words & Music: A UNESCO City of Music celebration on Thursday, Nov 6 at Wolf Performance Hall, included with the conference pass.
