Folk Canada Conference 2026
The Folk Canada Conference 2026 takes place October 14–18, 2026, at the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. Formerly known as the Folk Music Ontario Conference, the newly renamed national event is now in its 40th year and is one of Canada’s largest gatherings for the folk, roots and traditional music community, bringing together artists, presenters, music companies, agents, managers and other industry professionals from Canada and internationally.
The conference features Official, Spotlight and Acoustic Showcases, panels, workshops, keynote sessions, roundtables, mentorship, networking and curated B2B meetings connecting export-ready artists with international buyers. The 2026 program features more than 70 artists performing in 16 languages, along with the Ontario Folk Music Awardsand a free Community Folk Fest on October 18.
